A bold new pilot to tackle childhood stunting is being co-designed by Stellenbosch University (SU) researchers involved in one of 11  teams launched under the University’s Public Squares initiative.

This ground-breaking initiative is aimed at advancing transdisciplinary research and fostering innovation within the SU academic community. Managed by the Division of Research Development (DRD), it represents a significant step forward in SU’s commitment to research excellence and societal impact.

The ‘Break Free, Grow Tall, Reach Far‘ team brings together experts from SU’s Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences, AgriSciences, Economic and Management Sciences, and Engineering. Their collaborative research is helping to inform the pilot’s unique approach.
