14 Feb WORKSHOP REPORT: Shifting the Food System

The Southern Africa Food Lab’s Workshop on Shifting the Food System in November was an exploration of a diverse group’s perceptions of the South African food system at which insights and expertise were shared,  coalescing around areas of interest and passion, as potential catalysts and seeds for change.

The recently released workshop report has been written in a modular format, which means that each section can be read independently. The Table of Contents maps the different sections of the report which include the proceedings from the workshop as well as background information, including a summary of what the Food Lab is, information on the thinking behind the workshop design, how and why 17 Shaft was selected as the venue, some background on the Food (R)evolutions Exhibition and the composition of the group that came together for the day.
